Agha-Syed-Hassan-qoute-567987Terming the action of government as “clumsy joke with human rights and democracy”, President J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian and senior Hurriyat (g) leader, Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi Wednesday condemned suspension of passport of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Chairperson Syed Ali Geelani to “stop him from attending OIC summit”.

“The government of India was not sincere for issuing passport to Syed Ali Geelani. To erase the bad glory and agility at global level, India issued passport with the intention and at the same time suspended passport of Hurriyat Chairperson,” he said in a statement adding, “it became evident with the process and the fact that India is not willing to make an exception on humanitarian grounds for freedom fighters especially resistance leadership of Jammu and Kashmir.”

Meanwhile, Hassan condemned the arrest of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chief Yasin Malik. “Harassment of Kashmiris could not deter the passion of resistance leadership to represent the wishes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
