Swine flu has claimed one more life in Jammu after a 50-year-old man died of the viral infection in a Jammu hospital on Thursday, officials said.

Sher Singh, a resident of Chanderkote village of Ramban district, died at Government Medical College Hospital Jammu on Sunday, State surveillance officer for integrated disease control programme and leading epidemiologist Dr J P Singh Jamwal said.

Singh is the second person to die of swine flu in Jammu region in the past two months. On August 25, a 43-year-old woman died of the disease.
