Paying tributes to Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guroo, conglomerate of militant outfits United Jihad Council Thursday said that burying the bodies of the duo inside Tihar Jail depicts the ‘frustration and fear’ of Indian rulers.
UJC spokesperson Syed Sadaqat Hussain in a statement to news agency CNS quoted the conglomerate chief Syed Salahuddin as having said that the best way to pay tribute to these sons of soil is to take their mission to logical conclusion.
“Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guroo not only showed the destination to the freedom loving people of Kashmir but also taught them how to reach there,” he said.
Syed Salahuddin also criticized the remarks of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat wherein he had said that everyone taking birth in India is a Hindu. “This statement shows mental bankruptcy of Mohan Bhagwat,” he said.
