SRINAGAR: In a major setback for former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad’s Democratic Progressive Azad Party, former legislator and senior leader Taj Mohi-Ud-Din announced on Saturday that he will soon rejoin the Congress.
Addressing a press conference, Mohi-Ud-Din,revealed that he has spent over four decades with the Congress. During a recent meeting with his workers, he discussed his decision to return to the party.
He said that he will rejoin the Congress shortly. This development follows the Election Commission of India’s announcement of the assembly poll schedule for Jammu and Kashmir.
In August 2022, Taj Mohi-Ud-Din had resigned from his basic membership in Congress in support of former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and subsequently joined the Azad-led DPAP—(KNO).
