SRINAGAR: A 26-year-old youth died after a Tavera vehicle hit his motorcycle at Range Mode in the Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
An official said the deceased has been identified as Aaqib Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Shafi Mir, a resident of Watergam Kreeri.
He sustained critical injuries in the accident and was immediately taken by locals to JandTrauma Hospital Pattan for treatment. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead, the official added.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation. (JKNS)
