Police have arrested a school teacher for allegedly molesting a fifth primary student he is supposed to teach. A case was registered against the teacher.
Details revealed that a student enrolled in state run Upper Primary Middle School complained of molestation and it was conveyed to the police. They arrested the teacher Javaid Ahmad Bhat.
The student actually has gone home post molestation and complained to her family, who in turn reported it to the police. Reports said there were tensions in the locality that is located on the Srinagar-Shopian main road. Police acted swiftly and arrested the teacher.
It was not immediately known if the education department has initiated any sort of action against the teacher.
