Police on Wednesday claimed that the protesting ReT teacher was not injured due to teargas shell but hurt himself after falling on a metal grill in Lal Chowk.
A senior police officer told KNS over phone that the media reports which say the ReT teacher was “injured due to teargas shell fired by police were wrong”. “The concerned teacher actually felt on the metal grill in Lal Chowk and hurt himself,” he said.
The officer added that few protestors received minor injuries due to lathicharge and no arrest of the protesting ReT teachers was made.
