“On one hand, the university seeks our marks cards and today is the last date for submission of marks cards, on the other hand, we are yet to get our re-evaluation results,” said a student.

The students accused the board authorities and evaluators of resorting to callousness while evaluating their papers.

A student, Javed Ahmad of Mechanical engineering, said that after applying for evaluation and identification he found many questions in his answer sheet left unevaluated. He added, he has not failed in any semester so far and he was shocked to see a backlog in final semester paper, in which he had done well.

The students said they approached the Directorate of Technical Education in Srinagar Secretariat but found no official there except for a clerks, who refused to redress our grievances owing to lack of authority.

The aggrieved students said that if their grievances are not addressed their educational careers will lose a precious year.

When Contacted, Secretary Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education, Er Mahmood Ahmad Khan, told Kashmir Life that the re-evaluation results will be declared in two to three days.
