A state chopper carrying Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday afternoon made an emergency landing in Kishtwar district shortly after it took of, as it developed a technical snag.
Soon after addressing public rally in Kishtwar, Omar was flown from there but his chopper developed a technical snag and made an emergency landing in Kishtwar again, official sources told news agency JKANS. The Chief Minister was escorted safely and no one was injured.
According to official sources the Chief Minister later left by road for Srinagar. MoS Home Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo escorted him right up to Batote in his cavalcade.
