SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old girl was killed and two others injured after an Eeco vehicle skidded off the road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official said that the accident occurred in the afternoon when an Eeco vehicle bearing registration number JK11B-2995, travelling from Thanamandi towards Rajdhani, skidded off the road.
He said the girl died on the spot, while the two injured persons were shifted to a hospital for treatment. Their identities are being verified.
Police have initiated legal proceedings in connection with the incident.—(KNO)
