SRINAGAR: A 19-year-old boy was found hanging by a tree branch in Kotranka, Rajouri, an official said on Saturday morning.
The official said that on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, one Shafqat Ali, son of Mohammad Din, a resident of Ponda Naka (Peeri), Kotranka, was found hanging from an oak tree branch.
“The local police were informed, who arrived at the scene and have taken the body into their possession,” the official said.
Confirming the incident, a police official said that they have initiated medico-legal formalities to investigate the recovery of the body under such circumstances. (KB)
