SRINAGAR: A teenager was injured as armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fresh fire and mortar shells in Bandichechian sector in Poonch district on Thursday evening.
The injured has been identified as Ikhlaq Ahmed (18) son of Mohammad Farooq Sheikh. he was shifted to District hospital Poonch for further treatment.
SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral confirmed to news agency GNS the injury to the youth in ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the LoC in the sector.
