Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Islamabad Mir Hafizullah was booked under another Public Safety Act (PSA) and shifted to Amphala jail in Jammu from police station Achabal, sources said.
After his arrest in November 2016, Hafizullah was slapped with PSA and shifted to Kotbalwal jail.
Mir has been booked several times since 2008 uprising and remained out of jail only for a brief period.
He was booked for instigating violence and propagating secessionist ideology and twenty-five FIRs were registered against him in different police stations.
