A truck driver was killed after it collided with the load carrier at Padgampora Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday resulting in the death of a truck driver.
An official said that a truck bearing registration number JK2AP 6043 driven by Mohammad Rashid, a resident of Rajouri collided with a load carrier bearing registration number JK 04-p/44777 driven by Mohammad Hussain Mir, a resident of Chadoora Budgam.
The official added that the injured truck driver was rushed to Srinagar hospital but doctors declared him brought dead.
However, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
