Thousands of mourners on Thursday evening took part in the last rites of a slain militant killed in Shumriyal forest in Lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources said that slain militant identified as Zahoor Ahmed, a resident of Kalaroos has been buried in his ancestral graveyard at Kalaroos. More than six thousand mourners participated in his last rites at his funeral prayers were more than 6000 as per reports.
The official added that other slain militant killed along with Zahoor, identified as Bilal Ahmed, from Shart-muqam, will be buried tomorrow after Friday prayers.
