Thousands of people on Sunday participated in the funeral prayers of two slain militants in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports said that thousands of people from Redwani, Katrasoo and its adjoining areas of Kulgam took part in the funeral prayers of Suhail Ahmad and Mudassar Bhat.
Earlier three militants including Suhail Ahmad and Mudassar Bhat and Muawiya, a Pakistani origin, were killed during a gunfight with government forces in Redwani area of Kulgam district. As per police reports, the militants were affiliated with LeT and HM.
An army man also sustained injuries during the encounter.
