Islamabad police arrested three persons who were posing as militants and threatened the Sarpanch and panches of Dooru area. Incriminating documents like posters and letter pads have been recovered from them, police informed on Thursday.
Islamabad police have arrested three persons Abdul Rashid Rahi son of Ghulam Mohammad, Shahid Ahmad Khan son of Mohammad Yousf Kahan, Mohammad Yousf Khan son of Mohammad Shafi residents of village Reyan Chowgund, Dooru involved in issuing threats to Panchs and Sarpanchs in Dooru area of Islamabad district.
During investigation of case FIR No 66/12 under section 13/(2)ULA,505 RPC of Police Station Dooru, it was revealed that the trio were involved in pasting of threatening posters, wherein demands for resignation of Sarpanchs and Panchs of Dooru area were made.
“10 blank posters having seal of District Commander HUJI printed on them and some fake seal of HUJI were recovered from their possession. These persons were posing themselves as militants and used to spread fear among Sarpanches and Panchs of Doour area”, police informed in a statement.
