Three youths who have been injured in firing in Nutnussa village in Kupwara “are stable”, SMHS authorities said.

“We received three injured youth. They have bullet injuries in lower limbs, but are stable,” Dr Kaisar Ahmad, Principal GMC said.

The youth were injured in fresh firing in Nutnussa village in Kupwara Friday afternoon and reportedly were injured in army firing. One youth Arif Ahmad Dar has succumbed to his injuries in Kupwara hospital.

Meanwhile, Army spokesperson Col NN Joshi said that they are assessing the situation and will issue an official statement. (KNS)
