Three Inspectors Promoted as DySPs in Jammu Kashmir Crime Branch

   

SRINAGAR: Three Inspectors of the Crime Branch Jammu and Kashmir were formally promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) during a ceremonial pipping event held at the agency’s headquarters on Wednesday.

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Crime Branch JK, presided over the ceremony and personally decorated the newly promoted officers, DySP Azad Ahmad Dar, DySP Abdul Hamid Ahanger and DySP Ravinder Singh.

Congratulating the officers, the IGP lauded their integrity, professionalism and service record, urging them to maintain the same zeal in their new roles. He reminded them that the elevation carried added responsibility, particularly in investigating white-collar crimes and economic offences in the Union Territory.

“The promotion is not just a recognition of past service, but also a reminder of the greater responsibility that comes with higher rank,” the IGP said.

The function was attended by DIG Crime Branch JK, Ab. Qayoom, SSP EOW-S (CBK) Abdul Waheed Shah, along with other senior officers and staff members, who extended their congratulations to the promoted officers.
