Three militants and one army man were killed during an encounter in Aglar village of Pulwama district in southern part of Kashmir late Monday evening.
Police officials confirmed to Kashmir Life that three militants and the army man were killed in the encounter.
They said that the three militants were involved in an attack on Police party in which a constable of J&K police was killed.
“They were involved in yesterday’s attack on police party in which one police man SgCt Ab Salam was martyred,” the official said.
Three AK-47s and a Pistol was recovered from the killed militants, reports said.
