Army on Wednesday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing three militants in Machhil area of Kupwara in north Kashmir.
An army spokesperson, Colonel Rajesh Kalia, said three militants were killed while they were trying to infiltrate into this side of the Line of Control in Machil.
He said searches are being conducted in the area. “More details are awaited,” he said.
