SRINAGAR: Three militants affiliated with the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit were killed in an operation in the Nadar Lorgam area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
A senior police officer told local news agency GNS that the three JeM militants were killed during the encounter with security forces in the area.
“The identity is being ascertained. Further details will be shared later,” the officer added.
Earlier, a gunfight had broken out between militants and security forces in Nadar Lorgam. (GNS)
