SRINAGAR: On Sunday afternoon, a major fire broke out in the Shouch region of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, destroying three residential homes.
A fire broke out in a residential house in Batpora Shouch in Kulgam, an official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer.
“Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flames,” he said, adding that three residential houses got damaged till the fire could be brought under control.
He further stated that no one was injured in the incident and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Tthe three residential houses belong to Abdul Rashid Lone, son of Mohammad Shaban Lone, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Salam Bhat and Gulzar Ahmad Thokar, son of Abdul Aziz Thokar of Batpora Shouch, Kulgam, he added. (KNO)
