SRINAGAR: Three students were injured when a Scorpio vehicle collided with a motorcycle near Government High School in Bhata Dhurian area of Mendhar in Poonch district on Thursday afternoon, reports said.
The collision took place at around 12:20 pm, leaving the three students travelling on the motorcycle injured. The registration number of the Scorpio was not immediately available.
The injured were identified as Zameer Ahmed, son of Mohd Jahangeer, a resident of Jaran Wali Gali; Sameer Ahmed, 14, son of Mohd Jahangeer, a resident of Bhata Dhurian; and Murtaza Ahmed, 16, son of Tanveer Hussain, a resident of Jaran Wali Gali.
All three are students of Government High School, Jaran Wali Gali.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, while further details are being ascertained.
