SRINAGAR: Three women were injured in a wild bear attack in Wani Mohallah Kangan area of central Kashmir’s  Ganderbal district on Monday.

An official said that three women were critically wounded after a black wild bear appeared suddenly in their agriculture fields and attacked them.

He identified the injured as Shaheena Begum (46) W/0 Reyaz Ah Mir, Jabeena begum (34) W/0 Mehraj Ud Din Rather and  Nusrat Bano (19) all the residents of Wani Mohallah Kangan.

He said that all the injured women were immediately rushed to Trauma Hospital Kangan for treatment where from Shaheena Begum was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
