SRINAGAR: A three-year-old boy from Punipora lost his life after drowning in a water harvesting tank in the Kutbal Devsar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday evening.
An official said that the incident occurred at the boy’s maternal home in Kutbal, Devsar, Kulgam. The child, identified as Abrahim Waseem, son of Waseem Ahmad Tantray, accidentally fell into the tank, resulting in his untimely demise.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings. (NVI)
