SRINAGAR: Security has been tightened outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area following a shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu on Sunday evening.

Police personnel wearing bulletproof jackets and additional police vehicles have been deployed outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments as a precautionary measure, according to media reports.
The security arrangements were strengthened after assailants allegedly opened fire at Shroff’s car as he was leaving a football club in Juhu at around 7 pm on Sunday. Shroff escaped direct gunshot injuries, while his driver was injured in the incident.
The development has renewed concerns over the security of prominent Bollywood personalities, particularly Khan, who has received repeated threats allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The hostility between Khan and Bishnoi stems from the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, which Bishnoi has cited as having hurt the religious sentiments of the Bishnoi community. The dispute has since been followed by repeated threats against the actor and alleged attacks linked to the gang.
