SRINAGAR: Four militants were killed in an operation in Naira area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, an official said.
An official said that four militants affiliated with Jaish-e- Muhammad outfit have been killed in the encounter and search operation is going on.

He identified one among slain militants as top JeM commander Zahid Wani.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from the site of the encounter, the official said.
He added that the gunfight broke out in Naira area in Pulwama on Saturday late night following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Naira area of Pulwama.
