Srinagar: Two militants including a top Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commander have been killed in an encounter at Check Sadiq Khan area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official said that two militants including top LeT Commander Ishfaq Dar @ Abu Akram who was active since 2017 were killed in the encounter.
He said that the gunfight broke out in Check Sadiq Khan area in Shopian on Sunday late night following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a militant was killed in a gunfight between militants and forces in Check Sadiq Khan area of Shopian.
