SRINAGAR: Two persons, including a tourist, were injured in a road accident on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road near Thune area of Kangan in central kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday, officials said.
An official said that the mishap occurred when a Bolero vehicle (registration number JK16B-6672) collided with an i20 vehicle (registration number JK01AU-7259).
The collision resulted in injuries to the i20 driver and a tourist passenger.
The injured have been identified as 33-year-old, resident of Kakpora Pulwama, and 30-year-old, resident of Delhi.
Both injured persons were initially shifted to SDH Kangan, from where they were referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced medical treatment, he added.
Further investigation into the incident is underway. (KNC)
