In the advisory, the Traffic Police requested people to park vehicles only at designated parking spaces and avoid the sale of sacrificial animals along roadsides. Citizens were also advised to use designated places for such activities to prevent traffic disruption.

Authorities urged passengers and vehicle operators to avoid overloading in public transport vehicles and encouraged car pooling to reduce traffic pressure on city roads.

The advisory further directed hawkers and vendors not to occupy footpaths with merchandise and asked commuters to use alternative and diversion routes wherever necessary to avoid congestion.

Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators were instructed to avoid slow movement, unnecessary stoppages and boarding or deboarding of passengers at unauthorised locations.

Traffic Police also appealed to the public to maintain lane discipline, avoid overtaking, cooperate during traffic diversions and ensure free passage for emergency and referral services.

Citizens were advised against unnecessary movement in congested areas and were urged to avoid last-minute travel rushes to ensure safe commuting during the festival days.

The advisory stated that public cooperation would help maintain smooth traffic movement and reduce inconvenience during Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.
