Following the shooting of stones and landslides at many places in Ramban district on Srinagar-Jammu highway, the authorities suspended the traffic movement on third consecutive day to ensure the safety of the passengers on Friday.
An official said that due to landslides at Ramban-Banihal Stretch, resulting in the suspension of the traffic movement on the highway. Reports also said that no traffic will be allowed in the opposite direction.
The official added that men and machinery have been pressed into the service to clear the debris and ensure the early reopening of the highway as soon as possible.
