Traffic Police city arranges nonstop bus service for the Kashmir university students from five different places to Hazratbal.

Traffic police City, Srinagar has been receiving complaints against slow movement of passengers vehicles particularly on Dargah Hazratbal route. In this regard the students of Kashmir university had approached to the SP traffic City for redressal of their genuine grievance.

SP Traffic city Srinagar called a meeting of Chairman Haji peer Transport Company, new Kashmir Transport Company, Star Transport Company and Harmukh Transport Company, who are plying their vehicle on Dargah, Hazratbal route. SP Traffic city directed these transport companies to start immediately nonstop service passenger vehicle from Batamaloo, L.D and Panthachowk to Dargh Hazratbal, during the morning peak hours i,e 8 00 hours to 1000 hours and evening 1600 hours to 1800 hours.

All the transport companies have agreed to start nonstop service on these routes. In this regard, 05 buses will operate from Batamaloo, 05 from L.D, 02 from Panthachowk, 02 from Ganderbal and 01bus from Kangan.

The nonstop vehicles will stop at Dalgate, Khanyar, Raniwari, Chattipadshahi and Hazratbal stop only. These busses shall be carrying a proper nonstop signage board on the front window screen.

Sp traffic city Shri Haseeb-ul–Rehman further sought the cooperation of the Kashmir university students and if any violation is being committed by these nonstop passenger vehicles, the same can be communicated on the following numbers.
