The Train services on Banihal-Srinagar track resumed on Tuesday morning after remaining suspended for four days due to “security reasons”.

All trains were running as per schedule on Srinagar-Badgam to Baramulla route in north Kashmir normally, a senior railway official said.

Therefore, trains will chug on Badgam-Srinagar-Islamabad-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu today, he said.

In May, train services were suspended for 14 times in Kashmir valley partially and fully for security reasons.
