Massive protests broke out in south Kashmir Islamabad after a train, apparently on trial run, crushed to death two persons.
One report said the accident took place at Manghal while another said the place is Shirpora. Police said they are in the process of getting details.
Though only sketchy details are available, reports said hundreds of residents came out and protested after two persons were crushed on the tracks. They have been identified as 50 years old Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, a resident of Islamabad’s Dewa Colony and another unidentified civilian whose face was mutilated by the train.
Sources told Kashmir Life that this train was on trial run after the railway authorities added a few coaches to this train in wake of massive demand. There were no passengers in the train only officials were there.
