The encounter that started in Dadsara village of Tral late last evening has ended with the death of three militants.
Police sources said that three militants were engaged in the encounter in a residential house and all the three were killed.
“The slain militants were identified as Asif, a resident of Dadsara; Ishaq, a resident of Laribal; and Ashiq, a resident of Charsoo.”
The encounter had erupted late Wednesday evening after forces launched a search and cordon operation in the area.
