SRINAGAR: One more militant was killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Saimoh area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday, taking the death toll of militants to two, police said.
A police spokesman said that one more militant was killed in the gunfight in Saimoh area of Tral.
The spokesman said that the operation is over now and further details are awaited.
The identity and the group affiliation of the slain militants are being ascertained, he said.
Earlier, he had said that one militant was killed in the encounter.
