Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant outfit on Wednesday paid rich tributes to militants killed in a gunfight with government forces in Gulab Bagh village of Tral, saying that they were re-joining Hizib after leaving Ansar Ghazwatul Hind, the militant group led by its former commander Zakir Musa.

“Zahid Ahmed, Ishfaq Ahmed and Muhammad Ashraf who were part of so-called Zakir Musa group were coming back to re-join Hizbul Mujahideen and on way got killed in a gunfight,” Operational Spokesperson Burhanuddin told local news gatherer CNS over the phone.
He said that Hizb Chief Syed Salahuddin and Deputy Saifullah Khalid have paid rich tributes to the trio.
