SRINAGAR: Tramboo Sports has dismissed baseless claims, and shed light on its strategic initiatives aimed at fostering industry-wide unity and sustainability.
Founded by the Tramboo brothers, Saad (20) and Hamaad (18), Tramboo Sports is committed to transforming the Kashmir Willow sector into a globally recognised, sustainable industry. The company, known for its innovative approach, utilises advanced technology, including exclusive seasoning chambers, to reduce the seasoning time to less than 10 days, a stark contrast to the traditional method that takes over a year.
Recent discussions have centred around allegations raised by the Cricket Bat Manufacturers Association of Kashmir (CBMAK) regarding Tramboo Sports’ manufacturing facilities and their appearance on Shark Tank India Season 3. The two young boys clicked a Rs 30 lakh deal by offering a few per cent stake to investors on the reality show. Tramboo Sports clarifies that due permission was obtained for their participation in the show and refutes any claims made by CBMAK. Besides, the company never asserted to be the sole manufacturer of Kashmir Willow bats in the region, acknowledging the presence of more than 300 manufacturers.
