SRINAGAR: A youth was injured after being stabbed in the Baber Line area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday evening.
Sources said that a youth identified as Muneer Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Qadir Dar, a resident of Bumhama Kupwara, was injured after being stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon near Baber Line.
Sources further said that he was immediately rushed to SDH Kupwara for treatment, where he was shifted to DH Baramulla for specialized treatment.
A doctor at the hospital also confirmed incident and said the injured is being treated and is said to be stable.
A police officer said a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.(KS)
