Srinagar: Transparency International India along with JK RTI Movement Tuesday awarded Moazum Mohammad, Bureau Chief, daily Kashmir Reader in appreciation of his work on public issues especially RTI, corruption and Tosamaidan issue.
Pertinently, Moazum was one among the first journalists to report about Tosamaidan issue in 2010.
The award was given to Moazum today by Justice (Retd) Bashir Ahmad Kirmani at IMPA in presence of Transparency International India, head Rama Nath Jha and Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative Venkatesh Nayak.
