Amid tight curfew, a low intensity earthquake jolted hit Kishtwar area on Wednesday, afternoon.

The locals calling Kashmir Life over phone that the earthquake hit the area around 1:08 pm.

Officials said that no loss of life or damage to any property was reported from any area.

Locals said that heavy rains are continuing in the whole Chinab valley.

Kishtwar is going through strict curfew from August 8, after communal violence erupted in the area on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
