SRINAGAR

Amid tight security ahead of the August 15, some girls tied Pakistani flags on the fence of Pratap Park in the Lal Chowk area of Srinagar on Wednesday.

Pakistan celebrates its independence day today.

As per some eye witnesses, at least two Pakistani flags were tied on the iron fence of the Pratap Park by some unidentified girls.

The eyewitnesses said that the girls flee away immediately after tying the Pakistani flags.

Zulfikar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Kothibagh Police Station told Kashmir Life over phone, “We do not have any information about it as of now. However, we are investigating but could not get any substantial detail.”

He added, “I believe it is just a rumor.”
