SRINAGAR: Two Army personnel lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a tragic accident at Reyala Murchana Road near Gobi Post in the Teetwal area of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
Official sources said that the incident involved an Army vehicle which met with the accident while on duty, as their vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down.
In the incident, two Army jawans lost their lives while two others were injured. Both the injured were shifted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar for treatment, the official added.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to Tangdhar hospital for medico-legal formalities. A case has been registered into the incident, they said. (JKNS)
