Two bodies were found in a graveyard in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday. The deceased men are said to be drug addicts, however, there was no official confirmation whether the duo died due to the consumption drugs or any other reason.
An eyewitness said that the deceased men identified as Sahil Ahmed Sofi, son of Mohammad Shafi Sofi from Malakhnag locality of the district and Bipin from Kishtwar district, were found at a graveyard in Sherbagh locality of the district. He said as police and locals spotted the duo, they were rushed to district hospital Janglat-Mandi where doctors declared them dead. Meanwhile, the duo has been shifted to hospital’s MRD section for medico-legal formalities.
In this regard, police have reregistered a case and further investigations have been taken up.
