Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two burglars and recovered stolen property on their instance in Baramulla today.
On April 08 Police Station Baramulla was informed that some thieves have stolen batteries from Mobile Tower located at Kanispora Delina, police said in a statement issued here.
Following this information, a case FIR under section 457, 380 RPC was registered in Police station Baramulla and investigation was taken up.
“During the course of investigation Baramulla Police succeeded in arresting two people involved in the crime. They were identified as Waseem Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Ahad Dar and Irshad Ahmad Gojri son of Abdul Razaq Gojri. Their arrest led to the recovery of 16 stolen batteries and a vehicle bearing registration No: JK01F- 0605, used to commit the crime,” police said in the statement.
As per police further investigation into the matter is on and more recoveries are expected from the arrested persons
