Two people died and four others were injured in two separate road accidents in Uri area of Baramulla district and Udhampur area of Jammu on Sunday morning.
On Sunday morning, a Chasis Alto 800 met with an accident in Paranpila Uri and resulted in on spot death of a one person identified as Anayat Awan and two others were injured identified as Azhar Awan and Musk Banoo.
Soon after the accident, the two injured people were rushed to Sub-District hospital Uri where from they were referred to district hospital Baramulla. Both the injured persons are said to be critical.
Meanwhile, another person died after his vehicle in which he was travelling met with an accident in Udhampur on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
A deceased person identified as Fazel Rashid (36), a resident of Baramulla was on way to Srinagar from Jammu when he met with an accident. The accident resulted in the death of Fazel Rashid and injuries to other others.
The injured persons were later shifted to the Public Health Centre (PHC) Tikri for the treatment.
