SRINAGAR: Two individuals died, while another was injured, in twin road accidents in the Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official stated that the first accident occurred near Shampora Crossing, where an unidentified vehicle struck and killed a man named Kumar Sawant Singh, son of Rajendra Prasad from Rajasthan. The victim was pronounced dead at the emergency hospital in Qazigund.
In the second accident, two individuals were resting behind a parked truck. However, after some time, the truck left the area and ran over the duo. One person, identified as Gulzar Ahmad Bhat from Adigam, died on the spot, while the other sustained injuries.
Furthermore, the police have taken note of both incidents. (KNO)
