SRINAGAR: Two individuals, including a non-local woman, were found dead under mysterious circumstances in two separate locations in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, an official said on Sunday.
An official said that a man identified as Fayaz Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Abdullah from Khokharhama Kulgam, was found dead in an orchard in Gassirana village.
He mentioned that a motorcycle with registration number JK18C-7233 and a bottle of poison were also discovered at the scene.
“In a similar incident, a non-local woman (name withheld) from Bijnoor, Uttar Pradesh, was found hanged in her rented room near Emergency Hospital Qazigund,” the official said.
He added that the body had been transferred to Emergency Hospital Qazigund for medico-legal procedures.
Meanwhile, the police have taken note of both incidents. (KNO)
