SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Chimmer village of in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Chimmer area of Kulgam.

The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Chimmer area of Kukgam.
